If you are training with intensity it is really important to look after your body. I cannot recommend flexibility and mobility more highly as part of your training regime.
As a way to prevent injury and also to help through injury, should an injury occur, I also cannot recommend more highly sports therapy. The Sports Therapy team I recommend in Swindon are Back2Fitness. They work with a number of the recreational athletes that I work with and I also recommend them to many of my clients before a potential movement issue becomes an injury.
They are able to assess what muscles are working well and which ones need some help either via stretching or strengthening.
If you are a client of mine and are happy for your therapy notes to be shared with me, this also helps inform your training with me as they can give me more information about your body than I can assess via watching your movement alone.
