Are you a school looking for additional fitness and sports support? Or a programme outside of the main curriculum to help engage your students? Look no further!

I am professionally qualified with a first class honours degree in Youth and Community Work from Ruskin College in Oxford.

I have over 10 years’ experience of working with young people. The first project I set up and ran as a volunteer was a youth fitness project. I ran a programme in a gym with young people, school years 10 and 11, teaching them how to train for fitness. Alongside that I ran a short classroom-based session where the young people worked towards an Asdan accreditation.

During my time in Youth and Community Work I wrote and delivered training to young people and adults including:

Young People:

  • Young Leaders Training

  • Internet Safety

  • How to train for Fitness

  • Introduction to Working with Young People

  • Behaviour Management

  • Equality and Diversity

  • LGBTQ Awareness

  • Internet Safety

I was also a volunteer for Oxfordshire Safeguarding Children Board for a few years and regularly delivered their Safeguarding courses across Oxfordshire. I was also active within their Training Review and Development Group.

If you are interested and would like to discuss how I might be able to help your school, please get in touch.

I am keen to work with a school to develop a programme supporting young people who are struggling with mainstream education using fitness as the tool to engage them. Alongside that I would like to develop an accredited soft skills programme to address issues such as self-esteem, behaviour and self-discipline in order to support these young people to believe in themselves and achieve during their time in mainstream education.

I am looking for a willing school with which to partner in order to develop this programme.

If this is of interest to your school, please get in touch.
