If you answered yes to just one of these questions, come and join us for the Be Fit Sofa to 5km or Be Fit Sofa to Up & Running courses!

Sofa to Up & Running is a beginner course aimed at giving you confidence to run. It is a 4 week introductory course.

Sofa to 5km is a 7 week course to help you build up your running and fitness to be able to run 5km.

There will be one in-person coached session per week plus 2 remote coaching sessions delivered via an online app or paper-based programme if apps aren't your thing.

There will be an online support network with others on the course so you can share your experiences.

The in-person session includes, strength, mobility, form and technique coaching to teach you how to minimise risk of injury through running.

Sofa to Up & Running!

This is a great introduction for anyone wishing to get into running or return to it. It provides a good lead in to the Sofa to 5km. It is open to all.

COURSES IN THE NEW YEAR

Sofa to 5km!

This is ideal for anyone wishing to build up their running to be able to run 5km continuously.  The Sofa to Up & Running Course is a great lead in to the Sofa to 5km Course. It is open to all.

7 Weeks with 8 in-person coached sessions

Starting Saturday 11th January 2020

Finishing Saturday 29th February 2020

2 x remote sessions per week every week on a day of your choice

Time: 8am-9am

Starting at: Battleground Fitness, Swindon

Course Cost: £40

Disclaimer - please note, it is not a guarantee that you will be able to run 5km by the end of the course. However, you will be given advice on running form, relevant areas to strengthen and mobilise as well as a training plan and in-person coaching aimed at getting you to be able to run 5km continuously. Due to differences in individuals, it may mean some people need a little more time to build up to running the full 5km continuously and I will give you as much advice as possible to help you throughout the course and thereafter.
